More Senior Moves at The Leading Edge

March 8 2006

Top Australian agency The Leading Edge has another new Chief Executive. Ellen Baron moves from the Sydney office to head up the team in Melbourne, replacing Dominic Lefebvre who will move to Singapore to lead the new Asia Gateway office.

The Asia Gateway office is due to open in April. The Melbourne office was launched three years ago with Lefebvre at its head - it now has a team of eleven. Baron led the Advanced Qualitative unit, helped shape TLE's ethnographic and semiotics offers, and headed up children's research and the Brand Revelations service across Asia and the US.

A week ago, the firm announced that founder Derek Leddie was moving to a new role in parent group Photon. New co-CEO Toby Hill comments: 'Now leading the team in Melbourne our clients in Victoria can be confident that Ellen's strong leadership skills and extensive marketing and consumer expertise will help them achieve their business and marketing goals'.

The agency, which employs 94 people, is online at www.theleadingedge.com.au
