Swan to Consult for Cello

Following his recent departure from Synovate, Neil Swan has this week joined marketing services group Cello in the UK in a consultancy capacity for an initial three month period.

Working alongside Richard Gilmore, Chairman of Insight Research Group and head of Cello's planning and research platform, Swan will be offering his expertise for the ongoing strategic development of Cello's research interests.

Swan was previously MR of The Research Business International (TRBI) and then Head of Development and Planning at Synovate following the takeover.

Gilmore believes that Cello's ability to attract high-profile industry figures on board is 'testament to its standing as a credible presence in the marketing services landscape'. He adds: 'Neil brings a wealth of experience that will be beneficial and informative in the development of Cello's research business.'

The Cello Group was founded in May 2004, and listed on AIM in November of the same year. The group already has considerable presence in the research arena with Insight Research Group, RS Consulting Group and Leapfrog Research & Planning. Cello also has a strong and growing footprint in brand consulting and response marketing with The Value Engineers, The Leith Agency, Target Direct Group and Navigator Response Advertising.
