Pulse Group Hires, Plans Many More

March 30 2006

Australia and Asia-based research process outsourcing company Pulse Group has hired several new executives to boost its project management team and support an expanding client base, with entry into China planned.

Jeremy Liew, who joins the company from Accenture, will contribute his strong IT expertise in strengthening Pulse's 'digital nervous system' and further develop the agency's hi-tech panel software suite. Zhang Wen Kui, a Chinese national and MBA graduate, will oversee Pulse's China panel expansion, as well as overall operations as it prepares for market entry into China.

According to CEO Bob Chua, 'We strongly believe that Zhang brings the impetus to further develop our panel breadth and depth. In a peculiar market like China, a strong combination of know-who or guan-xi, know-how, and local knowledge make a big difference in generating solid results.'

The company has also taken on Faye Ng, formerly from Marcus Evans and a professional in online marketing, as Client Service Executive. Rapizi Abdullah, formerly TNS, joins Pulse with significant experience in Data Processing and Scripting. In addition Pulse has announced plans to hire between 15-20 new staff throughout the second quarter of this year.
