Goosey Joins Harris Interactive

Harris Interactive has hired Richard Goosey as Senior VP, Marketing Science and Methodology. Based in London, he will lead the firm's Knowledge and Advanced Methodologies teams in Europe.

Goosey brings more than 24 years of international research and development experience in advance analytics, continuous tracking research, and survey design. Most recently, he worked at Nielsen/NetRatings as Chief of Measurement Science and a member of the global leadership team. He moved to New York in 2004 when he was appointed VP of Research and Development and acted as Global Product Manager for several NetRatings branded products. Before NetRatings, he was a main board member at Research International, with responsibilities including Chief Statistician, Head of the European Management Science Centre and MD of RI Technical Systems.

Goosey has served on Council of the MRS and The Royal Statistical Society Social Statistics Committee, and was Chairman of the MRS Education and Training committee. He has presented many award-winning papers including 'It is Time We Started Using Statistics' which took the Best Methodology paper at the 50th ESOMAR Congress. He is a chartered statistician and full member of MRS with a Masters degree in Mathematical Techniques of Statistics and Operational Research from London University.
