A former Wall Street analyst has launched a new firm specialising in research in wireless markets. EJL Wireless Research was created 'to address the growing need for proprietary and accurate market intelligence within the wireless technology ecosystem' according to founder and President, Earl Lum.
The company, which officially launches during the CTIA Wireless 2006 show in Las Vegas, NV, will combine primary market research, analysis and consulting services. It will initially focus on the mobile infrastructure and mobile handset segments, drawing on a global network of industry contacts. Its remit will also include mobile subscribers, operators and content, as well as RF semiconductor materials and components, subsystems and OEMs.
Lum has 14 years of experience within the wireless industry including 8 years as an Equity Research Analyst on Wall Street covering the global wireless industry. The company is headquartered in Redwood City, CA and is online at www.ejlwireless.com
