VNU Offers Strategic Briefing

VNU has launched Executive Perspective, an information service for senior executives shaping company strategies in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail sectors. The subscription-based service 'combines the company's journalistic and analytical prowess' from its Business Media and Marketing Information (MI) brands.

Content is delivered in print, online and face-to-face via monthly in-depth topical reports, real-time alerts, presentations and custom analyses. The service promises 'an independent perspective on news and emerging trends and the potential impact on CPG and retail business' and says it will 'dissect urgent new industry developments, assess market opportunities and risks, and deliver accurate forecasts and projections.'

The service has four membership levels: Basic Access, Gold Access, customized 'Client Defined Access' and Group Subscriptions/Enterprise Solutions. All provide monthly topical reports and alerts, with varying degrees of tailoring and sharing allowed, plus annual in-person briefings and forecasts for some levels.

James Russo, General Manager of Executive Perspective, says the service provides thought leadership and 'allows time-pressured executives to cut through the clutter and clarifies the relevance of industry issues.'
