Nunwood Launches Fieldwork Portal

UK-based agency Nunwood has launched a 'Project Operations web portal' designed for use solely by its external supervisors and interviewers.

For each field project, the site provides a searchable online directory of relevant personnel, detailing location, experience, methodologies used etc. Once a suitable roster has been chosen, supervisors can allocate fieldwork shifts, while interviewers are able to download any necessary briefs or guidelines, and then complete their daily updates online.

Nunwood says the site enhances project efficiency and compiles interviewer performance ratings on a shift-by-shift basis and links them to bonuses or other incentives, encouraging work of high quality.

Interviewer support materials such as training videos and guides are made available via the site, while chat forums allow staff, workers and clients to share ideas and experiences.

Director of operations As Yvette Leonard says the launch 'demonstrates our commitment to developing closer working relationships between clients, supervisors and fieldworkers.'

Nunwood won the award for 'Best Market Research Agency' in the Marketing Magazine Awards 2005 and 2004 and awards for 'Outstanding Market Research' and 'Best International Research' at the 2005 Marketing Research Awards. It is online at www.nunwood.com .
