Hispanic Panel Launch

Scottsdale, Arizona-based Quepasa.com, an online community of Hispanic and Latino users, has launched a research wing, Quepasa Market Intelligence (QMI), to give clients panel-style access to the opinions and preferences of its community of users.

The firm says the service is 'designed to empower the Hispanic community with a voice in political and commercial matters' as well as giving clients proprietary information about product use, brand preferences and political opinions.

Quepasa says the panel has been through extensive beta testing, creating a 'databank of psychographic information' about the site's audience. The firm will regularly poll its audience on news related and commercial topics and communicate the findings to the media.

In the words of Chairman and CEO Robert B. Stearns, 'The Quepasa.com bilingual Hispanic community represents the largest economically and politically relevant emerging majority in the United States.. Their opinions should be in the front-brain of every smart executive and politician.'

The site, which is owned by Quepasa Corporation, serves an audience across the US and in some Latin American countries. It is online at www.quepasa.com .
