TNS Promotion Continues New Focus

TNS has appointed a Global Innovation Director, Gaurav Bhalla. Based in Washington, Bhalla's role is to 'drive and effectively implement innovative solutions across the commercial businesses'; and to take overall responsibility for identifying new products and services.

This is the second senior appointment following TNS' announcement of a new drive to deliver more strategic business insights to clients. In February John Abraham was announced as Head of Strategic Development and Marketing - Bhalla will report to him.

Bhalla has extensive experience in Management Consultancy across a broad range of industries, and ran his own marketing strategy and systems consulting company for over twelve years. He then sold the company to TNS and became the latter's Executive Vice President for Strategic Services. His strong connections within the academic community will enable TNS to tap into the latest thinking in marketing and strategy.

Commenting on the appointment, Abraham says: 'Innovation is at the heart of TNS' strategy and I am confident that Gaurav will make a tremendous success of this new and challenging role. This new appointment will help us drive towards our goal of being recognised as a global leader in delivering innovative products and services to the market place.'
