GMI Hires Boost Sales Team and Syndicated Offer

Global Market Insite (GMI) has announced two senior hires. Jake Sedlock joins as Vice President of Enterprise Sales for North America and Michael Allenson as Vice President of Syndicated Research.

Sedlock joins from research and communications consultancy Penn, Schoen, & Berland (PSB), where he was responsible for directing worldwide marketing research projects for Microsoft. At GMI he will spearhead the company's Enterprise Research Management (ERM) solutions campaign, which assists research departments in streamlining processes and management. He will be based at GMI's headquarters on Mercer Island, WA, and will report directly to Larry Schack, President of the Americas.

Allenson leaves Chicago-based Technomic, a specialist in research for restaurant operators and food suppliers. Remaining in the city and reporting to CMO Mark Houston, Allenson will take charge of the building of a syndicated research capability serving a broad spectrum of vertical markets.
