Hires and New Office Boost Research Now in USA

September 6 2006

Research Now has followed up news of multiple UK appointments with the announcement of a new San Francisco office, the expansion of its existing US office in New York, and four senior hires.

The San Francisco office will act as the company's North American service delivery hub with the team both selling and delivering its full range of services in the Pacific Coast time zone.

The Group says the moves follow strong recent demand from North American clients for its European panel and fieldwork services. CEO Chris Havemann says the firm has 'gained considerable traction' in the US since entering the market at the beginning of the year.

Wendy McNutt has been appointed Director of USA Service Delivery for both US offices, based in San Francisco. She has 10 years of experience in online fieldwork delivery roles, 6 at MarketTools followed by four at Greenfield Online where she was head of West Region Delivery. She holds a BA from the University of California, Irvine.

The company also has three new Vice Presidents of Client Development. Tobin Bailey was most recently VP of Client Development and Operations at Nielsen Entertainment's Consumer Products Division in Los Angeles. Previously he worked in client development and project management roles at Momentum Research, Diagnostic Research, and Lieberman Worldwide. He has a BS from Central Michigan University, and will be based in San Francisco.

Franck Markowitz was most recently Head of Sampling at Opinion Research Corporation. He has nearly 15 years' MR experience, holding senior client development roles at On-Line Communications and GENESYS Sampling Systems prior to ORC. He has an MBA from Rutgers University and a BS from Syracuse University.

Dana Stanley has over 15 years of experience including client development, project management, and research analyst roles at Greenfield Online, MarketFacts, and the office of Diane Feinstein in the U.S. Senate. Most recently, he worked as VP of Client Development and Marketing at Edge Research. He has a B.A. from Bowdoin College. Both Stanley and Markowitz will work out of the New York office.

A further five US team appointments are also announced today: Clare McHatton (Client Development Manager relocated from Research Now's London office to San Francisco), Matt Dolen (Client Development Manager, San Francisco), Heather Radcliffe (Client Development Manager, New York), Liz Bull (Project Manager relocated from Research Now's London office to New York) and Ted Truong (Project Executive in San Francisco).

Research Now owns the 'Valued Opinions' family of panels across 18 European countries and has offices in London, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Paris, Athens, Sydney and Melbourne in addition to the two US sites. An independent public company quoted on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, it is online at www.researchnow.com .
