Growth for FDS

October 12 2006

UK agency FDS International has announced expansion for its research and technology teams, with three new appointments.

Dominique Demaine joins as an SRE from Synovate, and Sarah Gilbert as an RE from Gfk NOP's Social Research Team. Eva Bhandari joins the technology team in London in a database and scriptwriting role.

Demaine has an MA (Hons) in Mental Philosophy and a background in project management of domestic and international research for public sector and commercial clients, while Gilbert has an MSc in Criminology and a first degree in Sociology, with public sector research experience. Bhandari has just completed an MSc in mobile computing and will support the development of surveys using other technologies in the future.

MD Charlotte Cornish says the agency, which was acquired along with sister company ace fieldwork in June this year by holding company Munro Global Limited, has been 'extremely successful' in gaining new research projects in recent months from a host of leading organisations and establishments, including the COI, the National Audit Office, Ofgem, Serco and the RSPB.

Group turnover was £6 million in 2005 with around 120 staff. FDS is online at www.fds.co.uk .
