Senior Promotions for iSuppli

California-based iSuppli, a provider of electronics industry intelligence, has promoted Lloyd Kaplan to the post of Chief Operating Officer and Greg Sheppard to Chief Development Officer.

Kaplan, previously Executive Vice President, now runs the firm's day-to-day operations, including strategic planning, resource allocation and research business unit management, alongside directing sales and marketing. Before joining the firm, he was a senior executive at Avnet and held senior sales and marketing positions at Phillips Electronics and Hughes Aircraft.

Sheppard, also previously Executive Vice President, now controls the development of new research services and methodologies. Beginning his career in engineering at GTE, he moved on to strategic marketing and planning roles at Fairchild Semiconductor and Gartner/Dataquest.
