December 14 2006

David Pryor, currently head of the Product Planning and Market Research group at Porsche Cars North America (PCNA), will join the firm's Executive Committee and assume the role of Vice President of Marketing from January.

In his new position, Pryor will be responsible for all aspects of Porsche's marketing strategy and advertising in North America. He joined the auto maker's Aftersales department in 1998, then moved to the Finance group, rising to the role of Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis and then switching to the Marketing Dept in 2004.

PCNA President and CEO Peter Schwarzenbauer says Pryor's time at the company has given him 'a very solid understanding of Porsche from a financial, product and marketing standpoint'. He adds: 'Most importantly, David is closely attuned to the brand and knows what makes our cars attractive to our unique customer base.'

Pryor worked previously for Deloitte Consulting in their Atlanta and Cleveland offices. He has an MBA from MIT's Sloan School and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.

PCNA is based in Atlanta, GA. The parent company is online at www.porsche.com .
