Online Specialist Recruits for New Role

In the US, online consumer researcher Media-Screen, producer of the Netpop broadband report series, has hired Jean Durall, Ph.D. as its first Director of Research Services. Durall has worked at Knowledge Networks and Research International.

Durall has more than 20 years' qual and quant experience, including brand equity, ad tracking, concept testing and new product development work, and will aid the firm's expansion into 'new research areas of the Internet.'

She worked previously as a consultant with a number of companies including Genentech and Sightsound Solutions, Inc. Prior to this, she was VP of Panel Operations at Knowledge Networks, and before that she spent more than fourteen years at RI, specialising in the energy sector for clients in the electric and natural gas business. She also worked for telecoms and computer manufacturer clients. She holds a Ph.D. in mass communication and a master's in journalism and mass communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a bachelor's degree in French and journalism from Mundelein College in Chicago.
