Sadek and Wynberg Hand Over

Changes at the top for UK qual agency Sadek Wynberg Millward Brown. Nadim Sadek leaves for a senior global role at Research International; co-founder Rebecca Wynberg stays but assumes the role of Chairman while Andy Truslove becomes MD with a new senior team.

Three directors are given new roles in Truslove's senior team: Karen Elstein is charged with 'ensuring the continued excellence of inspired thinking and innovation', Michael Gillespie with talent development and Tracy Box-Simmons becomes Practice Director. Wynberg will provide strategic guidance.

Sadek's new role at the WPP-owned sister company is Worldwide Commercial and Strategy Director.

Truslove spent more than a decade in major London advertising agencies including Publicis, Partners BDDH, and Y&R. In the last of these he ran the agency's Central European operation and spent two years based in Prague, helping it become the first agency from a former Communist country to win a Lion at Cannes. He then worked as a media and sports consultant, and subsequently returned to his marketing and communications roots by becoming a qualitative researcher. In his spare time, he runs his own record label.

Wynberg describes the move as 'the company's next stage of development' and says it has been planned over the last six months. She adds: 'The talent we have in Andy, Karen, Michael, and Tracy is outstanding. Their promotions reflect the huge contribution they have made in growing the business as well as the leadership skills they have demonstrated in recent years.'

Truslove says the new team aims 'to build on the reputation Rebecca and Nadim have created — deep thinking and decisive clarity, backed by superb organisational capabilities.'

Founded in 1993, Sadek Wynberg was acquired by Millward Brown early in 2003. It now has a staff of 40 based in London and Warwick, and claims to 'conduct more international qualitative research than any other agency on the planet.' It is online at www.sadekwynberg.com .
