Reed Leader Retires

Reed Business has announced the retirement of Jim Casella, a former CEO for its US Information division. His responsibilities will be taken over by David Israel, CEO of Reed Business Information - International.

Casella joined in 2002 as CEO of Reed Business Information - U.S., and in 2005 moved to the role of Vice Chairman of the global b-to-b division, Reed Business. In this role he focused on growing Reed's presence in the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China). Before joining Reed, he was COO of IDG Corp. and President-CEO of PennNet (now PennEnergy). Most of his career was spent in business to business publishing, with senior positions in companies including Harcourt and ABC Magazines where he was President.
