Analyst Joins FDS

UK-based FDS International has strengthened its team of analysts with the appointment of Ruth Watts, formerly of Harris Interactive

Watts brings experience in developing, customising and applying advanced statistical techniques to a variety of b2b and consumer research studies for a range of blue chip clients. Her broad project expertise has recently been supplemented with use of techniques such as segmentation analysis, conjoint analysis and discrete choice modelling. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Sciences.

FDS says the move is the latest in a series of key additions to its management, research and IT teams, boosting its offering for large quant studies, public sector research, new technologies and database management.

MD Charlotte Cornish comments: 'Bringing on board an experienced analyst with Ruth's skill set will significantly enhance the range of added-value services we can provide to our existing and new clients.'

The agency, acquired in June 2006 by marketing services holding company Munro Global Limited, has offices in London and Newcastle, 120 staff and a turnover of around £6million in 2005. It is online at www.fds.co.uk .
