Cakebread Joins MarketTools Board

San Francisco headquartered MarketTools Inc, has appointed Steve Cakebread to its Board of Directors. Cakebread's finance background spans 25 years including work for salesforce.com, Silicon Graphics and HP.

He has served as Chief Financial Officer with customer relationship management company, Salesforce.com since April 2002, during which time he led the firm to its initial public offering and recently grew revenue from $22 million per year to the company's first $100 million quarter. He joined the firm from Autodesk, where he was Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer responsible for all of the company's accounting and corporate finance functions. Prior to this, Cakebread was VP of Finance at Silicon Graphics and also held several key positions at Hewlett Packard.

He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Berkeley and holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
