Financial Services Hire for Compete

Consumer researcher Compete, Inc. has named banking and e-commerce leader Ron Sheklin as General Manager of its Financial Services practice.

Sheklin has nearly two decades of experience in financial services, e-commerce, and consulting. He was most recently co-founder and COO of Partnerwise Communications, a specialty affinity and co-brand partnership marketing firm. Previous firms included Capital One Financial, Corporate Decisions, Inc. and Mercer Management Consulting.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Management & Technology Program, Sheklin holds a BS from The Wharton School of Business and a BAS from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. In his new role, he will manage the marketing and online channel effectiveness strategies for Compete's banking, insurance, and investing clients, including such developments as mobile banking and peer to peer lending.
