Business processing and contact centre outsourcing firm, Foxgate Solutions, has opened a new call centre in Cebu City in the Philippines, to service clients in the US, UK and locally.
As well as gathering data and conducting interviews for market research purposes, the 200-seat resource offers full time or overflow call center services including inbound, interactive, sales and technical support, lead generation and event registration.
'The Philippines offers exciting new opportunities for many business organisations around the world' says Maria Claudette Manus, AVP- Business Development. 'We consider this new facility to be yet another avenue to extend our clients' market reach, reduce cost and deliver the highest level of service to our clients, their clients and their customers.'
According to forecasts by the Filipino Contact Center Association, employment in the burgeoning sector should rise from 179,000 people in 2006 to 506,500 people in 2010, and revenues from $2.6 billion in 2006 to $7.3 billion in 2010.
