Minnesota Marketing Firm Forms Research Division

June 19 2007

Risdall Marketing Group (RMG) has announced the creation of three new divisions, including Risdall Marketing Research (RMR) led by President Frank Grubbs; plus units devoted to branding and strategy.

Grubbs has been with the firm since 1998, focusing on designing processes, creating business and product models, and building brand strategies for products and businesses. In the past he has directed teams in web/IT systems integration, HR systems, web hosting and other technical platforms.

Since January the company, which was formerly known as the Risdall Advertising Agency (RAA), has been restructured into a number of separate units which reflect its different marketing competencies. Launched alongside the new market research division are Risdall Branding & Naming (RBN) and Risdall Strategic Consultation (RSC).

Founder John Risdall says the new structure reconfigures the firm's product offerings as an integrated marketing group: 'Clients can engage with any of Risdall's marketing companies, yet have access to any of the others on a totally integrated basis.'

Working in tandem with the two other new units, RMR will use both primary and secondary research to uncover trends, attitudes and beliefs prevalent among an organisation's internal and external stakeholders. The research team is already working with other RMG staff members to incorporate research findings into communication strategies across the agency.

Risdall was founded in 1972 and currently has annual capitalised billings of $153 million and more than 60 employees. Headquartered in New Brighton, Minnesota, Risdall offers marketing, advertising, public relations, promotion and collateral development, traditional and interactive media, research and fundraising capabilities.
