New President for MRA

In the US, MRA (the Marketing Research Association) has installed Colleen Moore-Mezler as President for the 2007-2008 term.

With the profession enjoying a period of growth, Mezler says she and the association's National Board of Directors will focus on improving the quality of research. 'MRA plans to help members address issues that face the future of research.' She brings more than 20 years of research experience, having begun her career as an interviewer for her mother's firm, PA-based Moore Research Services, Inc. and later become its owner. It continues to be family owned and operated.

Prior to becoming President at the National level, she served as President Elect, Treasurer and a Director at Large; she was also President and Treasurer of the MRA Great Lakes Chapter Board of Directors.

MRA Executive Director Larry Brownell says 'her passion for MRA, and for the betterment of the entire research profession make her an excellent President'.

Mezler herself comments: 'I am very excited to be taking the helm of such a prestigious organization. As a second generation researcher, it has been interesting to watch marketing research change throughout the years.'
