New CFO for infoUSA's MR Group

Database giant and Opinion Research Corp owner infoUSA has appointed Ron Hanzlicek as CFO of its Market Research Group, with accounting and finance responsibilities for newly acquired Guideline as well as Opinion Research® and Macro International®.

Hanzlicek has been with the company for nine years. He is one of seven new promotions announced today by Chairman and CEO VinGupta, along with the resignation of Monica Messer, effective from September 26, 2007.

The seven promotees average 12 years with the company. Amit Khanna will be in charge of the Database and Technology Group; Dan Speicher becomes CTO; Tim Buechler has been appointed General Manager of the Database Group; and Rakesh Gupta to lead the new Enterprise Sales Group. DJ Thayer will be in charge of the Small and Medium Business Group, including the Sales Genie Division; and Alan Heckart, the Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, will take on additional responsibilities as CFO for the Services Group.

Gupta says of Messer: 'Monica was one of the key players in the growth of our company from $2 million to $650 million. We are thankful to Monica for her 25 years of commitment to infoUSA. Although, we regret her departure, we wish her the best in her future endeavors.'
