Kenyan Venture for South African Agency

Durban, SA-based Global Edge International has opened a Kenyan office, buying into local firm Infield Research.

The JV, based in Infield's office in Mombasa Road, Nairobi, becomes Global Edge East Africa.

The launch was announced last week by Graeme Taylor, MD of GlobalEdge and sister company African Fieldwork Services, and formerly a senior figure at Research International South Africa. GlobalEdge also has offices in Johannesburg and Nairobi, and has developed its own specialised analysis software. Infield's Dominic Kipchirchir becomes Client Service Director of the new firm.
