Hot New Name for Auto Agency

US specialist marketing agency AutoMedia has rebranded and named itself after a classic auto engine, Blue Flame 6. The firm now boasts six divisions, including units looking at strategic branding, customer retention and loyalty, and market research.

Founded in 1990, the Phoenix and Dallas-based firm employs 23 people. President Alexi Venneri explains the rebrand, which follows recent expansion: 'When GM introduced the Corvette in 1953, it was powered by a six-cylinder, 235 cubic inch, 155 horsepower engine known as the Blue Flame 6. The car was revolutionary and the engine was powerful - a perfect combination of innovation, performance and efficiency. Just like our agency.'
