November 16 2007

In the US, technology research firm Yankee Group has redesigned two of its proprietary data products to include enhanced research content, expanded geographic coverage in emerging markets, and new data tools.

ConnectedView Market Adoption Monitors & Forecasts provides information about global connectivity markets. The product contains five newly designed products; and now organises consumer, enterprise and mobile viewpoints forecast data by activities - such as mobile phone usage, streaming music, game consoles, and adult entertainment - as well as by technology.

The firm's Network Market Adoption Monitors & Forecasts product provides information specific to the infrastructure and telecom software markets and includes data on a number of topics including mobile devices, wireless equipment vendors and handset vendors.

Explained SVP Marketing & Product Management John Jacobs: 'With our research now focused exclusively on assessing the impacts of global connectivity change, we are delivering market data that truly helps our clients understand where to invest their capital and know how to size market opportunities and risks affected by the global connectivity revolution.'

These monitors and forecasts are part of Yankee Group Link Data, a program offering databases, research, analyst enquiries, strategy sessions, conferences and webinars, which the firm uses to assess the market impact of global connectivity change.

Founded in 1970, with headquarters in Boston and offices in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, the firm is online at www.yankeegroup.com.
