EMS Expands In Europe

November 27 2007

European fieldwork specialist EMS Research has upgraded its German operation in Berlin with the launch of two new research studios, and a major extension of its European CATI centre.

The firm says that the improvements have been made as a result of its growing focus on Germany, as well as its increasing demand for telephone research in the former Eastern Bloc countries.

Founder Neil Jarvis explained: 'We have continued to see an increase in demand for research in Germany from US clients, as well as for research in both Central and Eastern European countries. Therefore, we have moved swiftly to expand our existing operations - adding an extra 100 seats to our telephone research operation to satisfy this increasing demand.'

He added that Berlin was considered the ideal place for the revamped call centre, as given its multi-cultural population, there has been no problem with recruiting native speakers.

London-headquartered EMS was founded in 1999. As well as the Berlin office, the firm also has operations in Paris, France and Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is online at www.ems.eu.com.
