Synovate Malaysia Names Quant Director

Synovate has appointed former Millward Brown Director Ehtasham Uddin as Director Quantitative in Malaysia.

Uddin was previously Group Account Director at Millward Brown China, managing quantitative research for a number of high-profile international companies. Prior to this, he worked at IMRB India and AMRB in the Middle East. Uddin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IRMA, and bachelor's degree in Dairy Engineering from National Dairy Research Institute in India.

MD of Synovate Malaysia, Steve Murphy said that the appointment reinforces the company's ongoing strategy to strengthen its market position in Malaysia. 'Ehtasham's extensive international experience not only represents a boost to our capabilities but a direct advantage to our clients as well,' added Murphy.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Synovate Malaysia was established in 1997 and employs 190 staff who conduct both qual and quant research across the media, telecoms, oil and gas, FMCG, automotive, healthcare and business consulting sectors.
