Search engine optimisation (SEO) firm Top Position has launched a service combining standard SEO services with a range of competitor analysis tools.
The UK-based company uses link tracking software, web ranking monitors, keyword density reports, news reading services and 'general nosiness' to help clients bridge the gap with competitors appearing higher in lists, and/or gain an advantage.
The service checks links to rival web sites and submits client URLs to the same resources, recommends online forum contacts and approaches journalists who have featured competitors' sites - but the firm's analysts will also study the competitor site and its keyword density metrics before making recommendations.
