Former FIRM Man is New Beehive Worker

January 4 2008

Recently launched online panel and community research consultancy Beehive Research has appointed former Confirmit Senior Solutions Consultant Rune Wennesland as Head of Operations.

Rune WenneslandWennesland previously worked for Confirmit for more than 7 years, having joined the firm as Professional Services Consultant moving up to Technical Account Manager at FIRM, before the company changed its name to Confirmit last year (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6521.htm ). He was educated in IT and programming at the Norwegian School of Information Technology.

In his new role, Wennesland will provide expertise in utilising online software and managing the delivery of panel and research projects to clients. His main responsibilities will be split between consultancy, building customer panels and communities and managing the firm's outsourced research services and operations.

Before launching Beehive last year (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7623.htm ), Director Paul Kavanagh had used Confirmit in his previous position as Head of Experian's Canvasse Opinion. Kavanagh said that his new firm is already working on an add-on to the Confirmit Reportal reporting module, which enables existing users to build online reports more efficiently. The company will also be expanding on these products during the next six months and assessing where it can add value to online research users.

Commenting on the new appointment, Kavanagh added: 'Having Rune on board is fantastic news for Beehive and for our clients. Rune's knowledge of online software and its application is one of the best in the industry.'
