Millward Brown Names Healthcare Head

In the UK, Millward Brown (MB) has appointed Dr Trevor Acreman as Head of its Pharmaceutical Business Practice, responsible for the development of new brand and communications market research and the management of existing client projects.

Dr Trevor AcremanAcreman has more than 25 years' research experience, initially gained while studying for a PhD, and subsequently while working as a biological research scientist and consultant. Since joining MB in 1989, he has specialised in brand and communications research, and has developed a specific interest in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Commenting on the appointment, Warwick Nash, CEO, MB UK and Ireland, said: 'We are committed to helping healthcare marketers navigate an infinitely more complex world of marketing and generate the highest possible return on their marketing spending. Trevor's appointment will ensure we remain focussed on their specific challenges.'

MB is part of Kantar, WPP's insight, information and consultancy group. Its Pharmaceutical Practice specialises in assessing and measuring the effectiveness of both consumer and physician targeted marketing communications programmes. The firm is on the web at www.millwardbrown.com.
