Sterling Success for Former Wal-Mart Exec

In the US, Sterling Research Group, Inc. has promoted Wal-Mart veteran Jamie Faulkner from Director of Business Development to Chief Operating Officer.

Faulkner spent more than twenty years at retail behemoth Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., in roles which included analysis of supply side data plus measurement, collection, and data usage to find solutions to improve in-stock, plus major improvements for the company's perpetual inventory system. As District Manager she won many of the company's high profile awards and was responsible for over $600 million in sales. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri with a major in Marketing; and an MBA from the University of Tampa.

At Sterling, Faulkner brought in more than one million dollars in new business for 2007. She will remain a Business Development contact whole moving her focus to the new position.
