SearchHelp to Measure Sentiment in Digital Content

May 19 2008

US-based parental control software developer SearchHelp has launched new technology which analyzes sentiment in digital content such as blogs, forums, e-mails, instant messaging and mobile text.

The firm has hitherto focused on the development of software that enables parents, both in home and remotely, to monitor and regulate their child's computer activity through reports via e-mail and cell phone.

According to the firm's CEO Bill Bozsnyak, the new Echometrix system allows businesses to test market their brand or advertisement without the need to run TV ads to monitor its effectiveness; and helps with the development, fine tuning and validation of key marketing strategies to improve ROI.

'It is our belief that this type of technology will become standard practice and replace many of the current market research practices being used today,' said Bozsnyak. 'The market for this product is very large, as its uses are vast, it fits multiple market channels, and the demand is international.'

The company is planning to recruit a new management team to promote the product, including an advisory board of industry experts. It has been working on the tool for more than 12 months and says that response from potential corporate partners has been 'overwhelmingly positive'.

The firm is online at www.searchhelp.com .
