Mobile content specialist Nick Holland has joined New-York based tech market research firm ABI Research as Principal Analyst, Mobile Content, responsible for analysis focused on mobile video and TV, mobile music, mobile social networking and mobile gaming.He joins from Aite Group, where as Senior Analyst he produced primary research-driven reports on key issues impacting technology, payments and security, and provided consulting services to card networks and handset vendors. Prior to this, Holland was Senior Analyst within the CMT Group of Pyramid Research, and Director of the Emerging Technologies Advisory Service at Mercator Advisory Group. He has a BA in History of Art & Design from De Montfort University, Leicester, England, and an MSc in Information Systems Management from the University of Stirling, in Scotland.
In his new role, Holland will also conduct and supervise research into business models and content service delivery platforms.

Founded in 1990, ABI conducts research in the automotive, wireless, semiconductor, broadband, and energy markets. In March, the firm hired mobile devices specialist Kevin Burden to the newly created position of Research Director, Mobile Devices.
