Senior Hire for DisplaySearch

Flat panel display expert DisplaySearch has appointed industry veteran Paul Semenza as its Senior Vice President managing the North American and European analyst teams.

Semenza brings more than 20 years of global MR experience. Most recently has was VP and Manager of Display Business at analyst iSuppli; and before this a Program Officer at the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the National Research Council. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant on patent activity for Mogee Research and as an emerging technologies analyst for the US Congress Office of Technology Assessment (OTA).

He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and master's degree in electro-optics from Tufts University, and a master's degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Tim Bush, the company's Group President and General Manager, comments: 'Paul's leadership, industry knowledge, and market insights will be a great complement to the DisplaySearch business.'
