Emotional Measure for Europe

UK-based pharma consulting specialist J&D Associates has announced a licensing deal in Europe for ADSAMŽ, a proprietary technique for measuring emotional response.

ADSAM, the brainchild of a US company of the same name, uses a visual analog scale designed to capture respondents' emotional response to stimuli, and is said to provide a measure of 'a respondent's immediate reaction, undiluted by rationalization'.

Initially, the licence will cover all EU countries. J&D's MD Santanu Das says the company, which already has a number of proprietary techniques, is 'always looking to add more where we can find techniques which will provide clear advantage for our clients - and ADSAMŽ certainly fits that description.'

J&D Associates helps clients with licensing, clinical decision support, launch strategy planning, product development, commercialisation and forecasting, and was founded by partners Santanu Das and David James in 2005.
