iMap Usability Tool Launched

November 14 2008

US direct marketing agency BKV has launched a tool to optimize a web site's usability - providing a point-by-point evaluation of a site's strengths and weaknesses measured against a list of commonly accepted principles.

The new iMap (Interactive Marketing Action Plan) tool delivers a customized analysis by focusing on navigation, search engine compatibility, site design and layout, conversion path resolution, copy and accessibility.

It then provides detailed recommendations on how to reduce expense, improve search engine visibility and user satisfaction.

'iMap provided a fresh perspective that helped us identify ways to improve messaging, end-user experience and site conversions,' said Mark Palmer, Internet director at BKV's client Prison Fellowship. 'These insights will prove invaluable as we begin our next web site redesign effort.'

Established in 1981, BKV provides a range of services, from media, creative, database and interactive services to research and public relations. Web site: www.bkv.com .
