LMSR Names New CEO

In the US, Omnicom-owned language specialist Luntz, Maslansky Strategic Research (LMSR) has announced that President Michael Maslansky has been named CEO. He replaces Founder Frank Luntz who is leaving to focus on a new career in communications.

Michael MaslanskyThe LMSR Method of Language Strategy, including instant response dial technology used recently by news organizations to track voter reaction to the presidential debates, is used to understand how target audiences 'hear' messages and how to craft the language that resonates with audiences.

As CEO, Maslansky will apply this public opinion methodology to test and articulate the 'words that work' for clients' brands and products, public policy issues, sales tactics, corporate social responsibility efforts and employee outreach.

Prior to being named President of LMSR five years ago, Maslansky founded market intelligence site MarketResearch.com, where he remains on the Board. Previously, he was a corporate attorney with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. He is a graduate of Columbia University Law School and the University of Pennsylvania.
