Epocrates Extends Physician Panel

In the US, physician network Epocrates has expanded its opt-in panel to include physicians and pharmacists in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

The firm says that this will enable researchers to meet both their US and European panel fulfilment needs simultaneously.

An array of clinicians representing most medical specialties and occupations are already represented in the panel.

'To further meet our clients' needs, we have broadened our panel capabilities internationally, while maintaining the same top-notch service and results to which they have become accustomed,' stated Jeff Tangney, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Founded in 1998 in San Mateo, California, Epocrates offers access to more than 500,000 active subscribers worldwide, including more than one in four US physicians and more than one in three US medical students.
