Insight Show Merges into Marketing Event

In the UK, market research exhibition The Insight Show is to be integrated into a cross-discipline event called 'Marketing Week Live', which will be held at Olympia in London next summer.

Centaur Media's new event will combine four marketing disciplines: market research, online marketing, data marketing, and in-store marketing activity.

Previously, three of these areas have been served by independent events - the Insight Show (which took place at Earl's Court earlier this week), the Online Marketing Show, and the In-Store Show.

In addition, the new Data Marketing Show for the data marketing industry will be launched as part of the larger exhibition.

'We have created Marketing Week Live in response to extensive independent research that shows an increasing convergence and integration of job functions within marketing departments,' commented Director of B2B Exhibitions Mike Sherrard.

Centaur claims this research highlights that that 58% of Researchers are also involved in direct marketing, while 50% are involved in digital marketing.

'The new show will provide those marketing professionals with a unique platform for knowledge and debate of four diverse but overlapping marketing disciplines, while ensuring they make best use of their time,' added Sherrard.
