Analysis Tool Taps TV and Film Company Know-How

Language and sentiment analysis firm Echometrix is to work with film studios Paramount and DreamWorks and TV broadcaster Fox to develop market intelligence technology which analyzes digital content and unfiltered digital Internet conversations in real-time.

The firms will provide feedback and entertainment industry expertise to help build The Pulse, Echometrix's sentiment and behavioural analysis tool for entertainment, media, market research and advertising firms. The tool is due to be released in the first quarter of 2009.

'The Pulse will give decision makers the knowledge and insight about their ever changing markets while options and choices are still possible and relevant,' commented Frederick Pierce, Advisory Board Member of Echometrix parent company SearchHelp and former ABC President. 'The company's goal is to make The Pulse the industry standard tool.'

SearchHelp develops software services to monitor children's online activities. Through its subsidiary, Echometrix, it develops technology to analyze real-time, natural language and express and measure sentiment and behavior in digital content such as blogs, forums, e-mails, instant messaging and mobile text.
