US semantic intelligence and predictive analytics firm BeliefNetworks has secured investment funding, which it will use to negotiate additional deals with advertising networks, media and content web sites, and for research and business development.
While the amount provided in this round of funding, by Palmetto Investments & Exchange Group, was not disclosed, to date BeliefNetworks has raised $1.4m. The Charleston, South Carolina-based firm has developed a patent-pending predictive analytics and semantic intelligence capability to enable users to listen to activity on social networks, blogs, and news sites.
Palmetto Partner Matthew Johnson commented: 'BeliefNetworks makes a search for relevant ads and content as simple as having a conversation with their computer.'
