Interactive Launch for MRPP

In the US, Media Research Planning and Placement, Inc. (MRPP) has launched an in-house interactive department, led by Amy Boaz, to offer strategic planning and research for interactive media.

Boaz, who joined the company in September 2008 and has more than 10 years of interactive experience, will oversee the department as Interactive Media Supervisor.

The new department will work with search engine, e-mail, mobile marketing, display advertising and promotional tie-ins, and will help clients identify and determine the most effective media services, using tracking and optimization.

For the past ten years, MRPP has focused on traditional media planning and has offered interactive services via a vendor partnership: the new setup promises clients a more integrated media mix.

CEO Sheila Ogle, who founded the firm in 1987 after 20 years at a traditional advertising agency, comments: 'We are excited about the capabilities this new department offers our clients. Bringing interactive research and planning in-house will decrease costs and increase results. Amy Boaz is an outstanding leader and we are looking forward to seeing the work her department produces.'
