TORA Continues Growth

In the UK, recent MBO The Oxford Research Agency (TORA) has appointed Jackie Tarran as Head of FMCG Research and promoted Catherine Elms to Associate Director.

Jackie Tarran and Catherine ElmsTarran joins with 20 years' experience of NPD and volumetrics research in the FMCG sector, having previously worked for Product Perceptions and Research International.

Elms joined the firm in 2008 as Research Manager, having previously worked at Healthcare Research Worldwide (part of the MMR group). She began her career at NOP.

Joint MD Andrew Tharme comments: 'Jackie has a fantastic track record in FMCG NPD and Volumetrics research. She will help us raise the bar even further in our development of relevant FMCG client solutions and excellence in client service. Whilst in a short period of time at the agency, Catherine has proved to be a top-class researcher and thoroughly deserves her promotion to AD.'

TORA conducts ad hoc and tracking work covering FMCG, transport, education, local government and retail research. The firm was bought-out by directors Tharme and Chris Sinclair last year.
