New Year / New Names for United Sample and DDW

In the US, online panel specialist United Sample has changed its name to uSamp and re-vamped its web site, while global marketing research firm Data Development Worldwide (DDW) has rebranded as Radius Global Market Research.

uSamp's Gregg LavinLos Angeles-based uSamp was launched by Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin, the founders of survey sample firm goZing, in 2008. Their firm's proprietary online panel has since surpassed 1.2 million active, registered survey panelists; and the company has also developed several solutions that automate the delivery of sample, or panelists, for online research surveys.

'Our new name reflects our client-centric technology, coupled with the global sample we deliver for surveys,' states Lavin. 'Our new corporate web site and client platform puts tools into the hands of market researchers, online publishers and the consumers themselves, to improve the process from every angle.'

In New York, DDW has changed its name to Radius, to express its 'commitment to developing custom-designed research approaches for clients,' according to MD Chip Lister.

Radius delivers insights across the consumer products, financial services, pharma, communications, and traditional/new media sectors. Its Know More Internet panel comprises 3.4 million households, including 6 million consumers in the US, and more than 1.5 million consumers in Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and Scandinavia.
