Siegel+Gale Hires Bertelsen to Lead Research Practice

February 23 2010

US-based branding firm Siegel+Gale has appointed Lisa Bertelsen as Global Director of its Research Insights practice.

Lisa BertelsenOmnicom-owned Siegel+Gale, which was founded in 1969, has offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Dubai and Shanghai.

Bertelsen joins the New York office after more than 16 years working in market and behavioral research, strategy and user experience.

Most recently, she managed her own company, LB Research Group, specializing in marketing intelligence and information design for web site and online applications. Prior to this, she worked as VP of Qualitative Research at Ipsos, was the lead researcher for The Westport Company, managed the New York office of market research consultancy Vividence, and built Charles Schwab's first usability and user research departments.

Siegel+Gale's Research Insights team utilizes a variety of proprietary qual and quant techniques, and taps the attitudes and opinions of clients worldwide. In her new role, Bertelsen's primary responsibility is to build a global practice that uncovers research insights in language, cognition and behavior to inform client brand-building programs.

'As Lisa and her team expand our research offerings, we'll continue to deliver world-class brand programs rooted in simplicity—backed by deep insights and relevant data,' stated CEO and co-President David Srere.
