Iconoculture Adds UK Consumer Advisory Service

Minneapolis-based consumer research and trend spotting specialist Iconoculture has introduced a Consumer Advisory Service offering insights for UK-focused marketing initiatives.

Nick ChiarelliIconoculture integrates consumer information from multiple data sources and combines it with interpretation and analysis from its Advisory Services team.

Its new service offers ongoing advisory support from a team of consumer strategists, who provide knowledge of multiple consumer demographics and segments across a broad range of industries. The team's expertise covers advertising and marketing, market research, packaging, brand planning and product development. This enables clients to use overlapping categories and demographics to target specific markets and explore potential growth opportunities.

Lead Strategist Nick Chiarelli says that the new service blends a 'uniquely British flavour' with the ability to place the UK in a broader European and global context.

'What with the ongoing economic crisis and the post-election fallout, the UK consumer is under all kinds of pressures right now,' states Chiarelli. 'We believe that it is more important than ever for UK
marketers to better understand both their existing and new customers.'

In May, the firm was acquired by Corporate Executive Board (CEB) for more than $15m.
