EasyInsites Builds Smith's Shopper Panel

July 13 2010

In the UK, online custom panels specialist EasyInsites is to build and maintain a research panel consisting of members of retailer WHSmith's 'Privilege Club'.

Jo WinningEasyInsites was launched last year by former Research Now Director Charles Pearson to focus on custom panel solutions, using technology from Swedish software company Cint AB.

Its new client WHSmith sells a range of books, stationery, newspapers, magazines and confectionery from its network of 1,000 high street, railway station, airport and other outlets.

EasyInsites will tap into the retailer's 'Privilege Club' member database to create the panel, which will also be open to other researchers through the EasyExchange sample marketplace - otherwise known as the CPX (Cint Panel Exchange).

Researchers and sample buyers across the world will be able to access this panel by establishing an account with Cint; or alternatively, clients can approach EasyInsites for a package including access, research design and analysis.

'The investment in a custom research panel provides WHSmith with an opportunity to directly engage with and understand their current customers,' explains EasyInsites co-founder and Director of Sales, Jo Winning. 'The firm recognises that their customers are sought after in the research marketplace, and wants to provide them with the opportunity to give feedback on a variety of products and services to the varied companies interested in their opinion.'
