In the US, clean technology market specialist Pike Research has launched a subscription-based tool that provides market intelligence and insights for companies seeking to improve the energy efficiency of their IT operations.

Pike Research was founded last year by former ABI Research leader Clint Wheelock, to provide market research and industry analysis for the global clean technology markets.

His firm's new 'Green IT Advisory Service' analyzes opportunities for greener data centers, telecoms networks and electronics products, as well as emerging markets for IT in energy management and smart grid systems.
